On my way home tonight, I saw an orange moon. I wish I owned a camera and could use it while I was driving, but I’m not that crazy. In any event, it reminded me of one of the songs on our new record that we are currently writing. It’s about the cosmos. What’s crazy about the moon is that it can appear differently depending upon the way the light is reflecting that night on the particles in the sky. What’s amazing is that the air molecules actually scatter away visible light sometimes and we only see reds, yellows, and oranges. That’s kind of like life. We know who we are, but sometimes there’s so much surrounding us that people see us in a different light. We are not always seen in our true colors.
So this is a band we LOVE called Phantogram. And by we I mean Dave and Steve. But the others will come around as soon as humanly possible because their ears work correctly. Use your ears and eyes for this cool video. Oh and if you get a chance to see them in your town, definitely do! They do a great visual show as well when they play.
